Who Is Afraid of Car Supermarkets?

However funny the title may sound, there seems to be some truth in it. This something true appeared especially now that we have the recession, albeit somewhat weakening in certain areas. With less money at hand for purchases and unstable or lower-than-usual income problem still present, people tend to move to places where goods are known to have reasonable prices or bargains are frequent. And car supermarkets are definitely such venues. All vehicles on display in their showrooms have either discounted or sensible prices. By selling cars in this way car supermarkets are becoming serious and strong competition to other car-selling establishments like car dealers, for example. The main concern of other players in the market of car sales is the price. Car supermarkets sell and resell vast volumes of cars thanks to which their margins can be low and the prices very affordable. Trading in bulk allows car supermarkets to have high sales figures and make profits despite attractive and discounted prices available over there all year round. This seems to be the economy of scale that other establishments either cannot afford or find it very difficult to compete with. This sort of economy is also seen as a competitive advantage which is used a lot in difficult times.
