Second-hand Van Prices Still at High

Prices of used vans seem to be creeping north all the time. As it has been described by many market analysts, prices actually continue going from strength to strength. At now, the end of November, the average wholesale price for used vans is standing at an estimated 3.600 pounds and it makes an increase of around 2.6 percent comparing with October only. This business fact seems to be confirmed by the latest sales figures delivered by companies dealing with auctions of used vans, Mannhem among them. November was also the ninth month of this year which saw an increase in values and, at the same time, the fourth month in a row. If one compares the present sales figures with the ones coming from November last year, one could see that the average wholesale prices of used vans are up by some forty percent. The average age is up by around two months and standing at 55 months now while the mean mileage reached a level of 74,800 rising by some 6150 miles. The sales data does not mean that only rises have taken places. Some used vans have fallen in value with car-derived light commercial vehicles as the best example. The good thing behind those figures is the fact that despite the presence of the increase, its actual rate has slowed down significantly which may be treated as a good economic sign.
